Here we have an early Paper Mache doll. This doll dates to the 1920's to 1930's. He could be representing a soldier because of how he is dressed. The doll has been molded of Paper Mache. The hands, Head and feet have been painted. This doll is being sold "AS IS" and as it was found. There are some dings on the fingers. There is tape around the neck. This is perhaps how the head is being held on for the moment. The doll has been crudely made but is a rather interesting example. He is wearing a felt coat and felt pants. There is some fading to the clothing. There is also a ding in the top of the head, but the doll remains solid and in good shape. The arms and legs are jointed. This doll measures 16" tall.
