Antique Victorian Automaton - Thier arms raise to drink coffee, other arm raises as their heads move up like they are talking, the womans mouth is a nodder so are their heads once they move up. Very Very cool piece with a crank controlling two wheels. It works good but not great- I would recommend replacing the belt between the two wheels - tends to slip sometimes and not go around when the wheels are moving also its twisted a bit. They are made of paper mache, the mans thumb is missing and some of the china on the table is glued up, the 9th picture shows the womans neck exposed - the nodder part, the mans hair isnt perfect, the chairs are missing leg stretchers and one back stretcher on the woman. Overall condition is great on the dolls and for the age of the piece there are no major problems but small fixes needed. The brass lions on front seem to have been added later. Email for more pics if you need them. It is HUGE Measuring 27 inches tall x 21 inches wide x and 11 inches deep - Measurements are WITH the plexy glass top on. THE DOLLS ARE 16 INCHES TALL and the do even have feet under the tall.
